Atharva college of Engineering congratulate Ms. Niharika Prasad, student of BE CMPN Department for a Scholarship and Travel Grant at Linnaeus University Summer Academy in Kalmar, Sweden. She is one of the two students selected for Scholarship from India. The ambassador of India to Sweden was invited to conduct an interdisciplinary session on “India in a globalized world”. After the session she got opportunity to go on a lunch meet with her and the vice rector of Linnaeus University. As representative from India, she had to give speeches, comments etc during the session. She was interviewed by a Swedish newspaper as representative of the summer academy as she got a scholarship to share her experiences and her thoughts on Swedish education system. On asking for sharing her experience, she told “Studying for my course on Creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship with an international and intercultural group was the best experiences. We were divided into groups to work on our business model and my team mates were from China, Russia and Switzerland. I got insights from their different cultures and got to learn from them as each of us were doing majors in various fields like Industrial design, Business administration, Software development and Public Relations.”
