IEEE Atharva Student Chapter

IEEE Atharva is a student chapter of Atharva College Of Engineering located in region 10 within umbrella organization of IEEE worldwide. During past 10 years after the establishment of the organization in the college, it has grown from leaps and bounds in terms of memberships and activities undertaken.

IEEE OMEGA is the annual technical festival of IEEE Atharva Student Chapter of Atharva College Of Engineering.The theme for this year’s festival was “Smart City”, in which we showcased the technical projects and ideas which can make a city smarter and a better place to live in. The festival saw over 26 colleges participating in various technical and fun events.The inaugural session was presided over by eminent personalities from the field of technology related to smart cities. Mr. Kedarnath Ghorpade, former chief planner at MMRDA, was the chief guest, and presided over the keynote session. Mr Harsh Sharma, CEO of Empire E-Tech solutions pvt Ltd, and Cyber crime investigator, was the guest of honor.

The keynote session commenced with expert discussions regarding the advancement of the “Smart City” theme, as the dignitaries enlightened the audience with their knowledge and innovative ideas. The flagship events at the festival, Technical Paper Presentation and Technical Project Exhibition, along with Poster presentation witnessed an overwhelming response from students coming from all around the city. The two day festival ended on a high note, with Executive President Hon. Shri Sunil Rane, Atharva Group of Institutes, appreciating the projects and the innovations.
